Workshops & Speaking Engagements

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and what better way than conducting presentations and workshops to larger groups. Presentations are conducted in person or over Zoom. Contact me to see how workshops can be customized to benefit your staff and social organizations. 

  • 4 Week Group Health Coaching Program. Learn the fundamentals of food as medicine, chronic illness prevention, portion size and the exact macros prescription for your weight/height and activity level. Loose weight, gain it or maintain your weight, this workshop will get your diet on track to adequately supplement your movement plan for health and longevity.  Package is held in group setting in person or zoom, and includes (2) 1:1 nutrition coaching appointments with Jen.
  • Combatting Burnout, Preventing Stress (2-3 hour workshop)
    Signature program offered to groups, primarily those in particularly high stress careers. Teachers, social workers, sales, first responders, nurses, doctors and more. Participants will leave with the tools to lower stress and anxiety, create boundaries, create self awareness and a deep knowledge of the physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive repercussions of long term stress. 
  • Prime Time Health (4 part series)
    As a Dr. Sears trained master health coach I am able to offer this incredibly important workshop that educates the participants about how they can put preventative measures in place now and take back their health before it is too late. 1) Food is medicine 2) Make Health Your Hobby 3) Move Waist from your Waist 4) Live Without Pain and Inflammation.
  • Self-Care and Vision Board Workshop (2-3 hour workshop) Are you looking for motivation to change? Feeling tired, living each day as ground hog day? Are you letting life dictate your direction rather than you dictate your own destiny? This workshop is intended to help you learn to prioritize yourself, find passion, and look for change where you never knew you needed it. The first half is spent discovering self-care and how you can incorporate it into your life, understand you don't need to feel guilty for prioritizing yourself, and why lowering stress and selflove  is integral part of wellness. This fun workshop brings us back to childhood during the second hour with arts and crafts; each participant creating their own vision board.
     
  • What about Nutrition? (2-3 hour workshop)
    Participants will gain the knowledge needed to jump start their way to eating for health and wellness. They will know how much is too little or too much and what balanced meals should look like. Other questions answered are: What are superfoods, what are macros, how does sugar effect the body and brain. What is a serving size? Can I prevent chronic disease with food? How much fat, protein, carbs, added sugar should I be eating a day?

     
  • Nutrition and Wellness for the Equestrian (2 hour workshop)
    This workshop is intended for anyone balancing the demands or owning a horse, show season, the financial needs of owning horse along with balancing their own needs. As a lifelong equestrian myself I we put more emphasis our our horses nutrition and wellness than our own. Learn how to create the balance and treat yourself like the athlete you are! This can be done in person at your farm with a group or individually or over zoom.
